2nd Ace of Base Album

I was listening to the first album, The Sign, today after a certain lw and I talked about how we wanted to cover "The Sign" if we were ever in a (another for him) band (or in separate bands...whatever) last night. The 2nd Ace of Base album was a let down, I'm afraid. I do own it, but that's b/c I worked out to It's a Beautiful Life the summer between 7th grade and 8th grade. That song helped me lose 25 pounds, so it is relevant while the rest of the CD is irrelevant.

I believe my hatred, or extreme disliking, of motown stems from a second grade performance where I had to sing backup for the entire thing. I had to sing all of those songs over and over again, and I hated them all by the time it was over.

It is a completely rational reason. I can't listen to certain songs without recalling a time period in my life. If said period wasn't a good one, the song is tainted. It's perfectly logical and happens to a lot of people.
